Collection Needs
The museum is constantly looking for items to be added to the displays. Currently, we are in most need of Scouting items in the following areas:
1. Air Scouts and Air Explorers (BSA)
2. Wing Scouts (GSUSA)
3. Lone Scout Items, especially looking for an official uniform
4. Early Brownie Uniform from the 1920-1930 era
5. Rover Scout and Ranger Scout Items of the BSA from the 1930-1940 era
6. Girl Scout Uniform in blue from 1912 to 1913 era
7. Sea Scout Uniform of the BSA in Khaki from the 1920 era. Also badges from this program.
8. Early Philmont and Schiff Items
9. Early memorabilia from Camp Horseshoe,Treasure Island, Delmont, Resica Falls, Hart, Biddle, and Camp NoBeBoSco. Also looking for items on Camp Rothrock (Chester County's 2nd Camp) and Camp Icedale (First Chester County Camp, also called Camp Lafayette)
10. BSA and GSUSA items from the 1910 to 1925 era.
All donations are inventoried and letters are sent to the donors for tax purposes and for verification of the donation. Please contact us if you have items to be donated for help in preserving Scouting's History.
