What is the pilgrimage?
Each year, the Cradle of Liberty Council BSA (formerly Valley Forge Council) hosts a day-long visit to the Valley Forge National Park that includes events sponsored by the Park Service.
Every year, the World of Scouting Museum at Valley Forge is proud to host visits from hundreds of scouts and leaders to our museum.
This year, the weather during the day was very nice, cold but clear, (in the low 30's) We had a tremendous turnout, thanks to everyone who visited and helped. We also had visits from a group of Eagle Scouts attending a conference at the Freedom's Foundation.
We also had special displays in the Chapel Reception area, and had girl scout cookies and cocoa available.
Here are a few of the photographs from 2007:
The ladies of the chapel cabin shop sell our souvenirs, and feed the scouts! |
