 Museum's Purpose:

-Collect, preserve and display Girl and Boy Scouting memorabilia

-Share Scouting history and traditions

-Conduct programs which promote Scouting's heritage and values

-Collect and share historical information for researchers


The World of Scouting Museum is currently open by appointment only. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call 610.935.8001 Monday -Friday. For staffing purposes, we ask that you call at least three days in advance of your visit. We are sorry for this temporary inconvenience.


The World of Scouting Museum, a 501c3 organization located in Valley Forge Park, is seeking a reliable, responsible weekend manager to work most Saturdays and Sundays from 11:45 am to 5:15 pm. The manager will open the building and staff the front desk during open hours, work with volunteers and interact with visitors. A criminal background check and child abuse clearance must be obtained before hire. Pay starts at $10/hour.
